So I went to my GYN today to have a follow-up after getting in my copper IUD.  Everything looked good when the doctor mentioned that I am do for a pap.  I could reschedule for another day or just get it done now.  So I opted to do it now to save on another co-pay and trip.  To the doctor's surprise she realized that my IUD had come partway out and would probably fall out with my next period.  Therefore, she had to take it out since it can't be pushed back in due to possible bacterial infection.  Needless to say that was nearly $600 down the drain.  She told me that I could purchase a new one and try it again but the odds of the same thing happening are high.  I was so bummed because I get nauseous with anything hormonal (estrogen).  That really limits the options!  The good news is that she caught it because I might not have noticed it fall out with my next period.  It is way to soon to be pregnant again. 

Jim is so Awesome!

I just had to share this. Jim is just so awesome. I can't thing of a more perfect husband for me! He works so hard every day at work and give me everything I could hope and dream for. I'm just so enthralled with him and all of his wily charms. What a man!
